If you are interested in purchasing a poodle puppy please fill out a application,
and then I will contact you as soon as possible, I like to have a telephone conversation
to get to know you and to let you know what is available.
If we both decide that you are ready for a puppy.
The next step is to send a signed contract with a $200.00
deposit to hold your puppy.
The balance is due when the puppy is 6 weeks old.
There is Gst on all puppies!

Some of my litters are sold only as pets,most times I will post beside the litters on the puppy page, which way they are to be sold.
Some people just want a pet , basicly the people that are going to show or breed are ones that really require reg. papers.
We are responible breeders that breed healthy dogs to make healthy puppies. A piece of paper doesn't make your pet puppy healthier, or live longer. All our litters are well thought over and alot of time is spent in picking healthy blood lines . So as to bring you that special Poodle into your family for many years to come.We are available from the day you purchase your puppy ,until the end. As the new puppy owner of this puppy , I agree not to take the puppy to public places
or socialize with unvaccinated dogs until after the final vaccine has been given between 12 and 16

Your puppy has been eating__________________ puppy food three times a day. We think that this is very high quality food and recommend that your puppy stay on this diet. If you do change foods , please wait a least one month before switching to another brand of your choice. Also because we are on well water please use bottled water and switch slowly over to your tap water. ( If you don't your puppy may get soft stools and a upset tummy. )
1. As the new owner of this puppy, I acknowledge that my puppy must be taken to a veterianian within 72 hour of taking possession of said puppy. All costs are the sole responsiblity of the new owner.It is your responsibilty as the new owner to inform us at Cournoyea's Poodles in advance of any Veterinary care undertaken. We must be informed of any sign of illness shown by the puppy as soon as it occurs. We will not provide reimbursement for veterinary expenses incurred. Initials _________.
2. As the new owner of the above said puppy, I understand that stress related issues such as coccidia and hypoglucimia are common with a puppy moving to a new home and are not a cause for refund of vet bills. Also all puppies should have one more deworming for good measure with the first vet exam. This puppy has recieved his first revolution treatment before leaving. (flea and heart worm treatment ).

3. This puppy shall be spayed or neutered at the new owners expense between 4 and 7 months of age, and comfirmation must be sent to us, by the age of 8 months. If proof of desexing is not provided, this contract is null and void due to failure to fullfil contract. Initials ___________.
4. We here at Cournoyea's Poodles fully guarantee this puppy for 2 years ( from two months of age) to be free of serious genetic defects. The following genetic illnesses will be subject to compensation if all procedures are followed:
a) Eyes
- cataracts or Progressive Retinal Atrophy
- must be diagnosed by a veterinary ophthalmologist
b) severe case of Patella's (back knees)
- must be life imparing
5. All testing and examinations are the sole responsiblity of the new owner (you). Should one of the above listed defects be found,the purchaser has a choice from the following two options:
a) 1/2 refund of original purchase price of the puppy( shipping costs are not included in the refund)
b) A replacement puppy will be offered if the refund is not taken
- as the purchaser you understand that the replacement puppy from the next available litter of our choice shall be given to you.
- as the owner you are responsible for the pick up os shipping costs of this new puppy.
* This refund or replacement is only valid upon completing of information to our satisfation.*
We require all veterinary conclusions from your veterinarian plus another opinion from a secondary vet. of our choice. All records, exams, conclusions, vet certicates etc. are to be forwarded to us immediately following the initial diagnosis.
This puppy has been placed in you ( the buyer's ) care, and you shall maintain this puppy at a healthy weight and shall not over exercise. This puppy shall also complete at least one level of puppy school. You are the central caregiver, and as such agree to care for this puppy to the best of your abilities. This contract is legal binding document between the buyer and the seller. Disregarding this contract will result in legal action being taken against the buyer. This contract is Void if the dog is sold to anyone other than the above stated buyer. We must be contacted if the puppy is to be re-homed for any reason so as to assist in finding him / her a proper home. If puppy is placed in my care to be re-homed there is no refund of cash! By signing this contract you, as the buyer, Agree to abide by all of the terms and conditions listed above.
